Video: How to activate the glutes using Be Activated

How important are your glutes? They give you balance and core strength, helping you run with speed and stamina when the competition starts. But only if they’re activated.

In this video, I’ll show you the third part of a simple Zone 1 activation. We’ve already learned diaphragmatic breathing and activated the psoas. Here’s how to unlock the power of the glutes using 4 simple pressure points.

  1. Hi Dr. Tom-
Just watched this video of you activating Julian and I think my psoas is performing better just from watching the video!!!

I haven’t talked to Yaman since she started dancing again (yesterday). I should connect with her tonight for an update. The PT folks were thinking that her ‘dead shoes’ may have caused some overextension which may have stretched or strained the muscle on the top of the foot.

Thanks for returning my call last week. It really meant a lot to me.
    Warmly – Linda Durack

In my last football season I suffered a Grade 1 sprain in my left knee. I was unable to play with it until I went to Doctor Nelson. After my activation I felt like a new person; I was able to play the next week and I felt just as good as new. The Activation Process and Doctor Nelson have impacted my life tremendously. I Self-activate to stay balanced, strong, focused and to avoid injury. Plus, it puts me one step ahead of the competition. Buffalo Grove HS, Class of 2017, Football and Baseball
